线材扭转试验机的维护与保养很重要，这与提高线材扭转试验机的使用寿命和保持良好的性能有着密切的关系。因此，除了有专人负责试验机外，还必须做到如下各条：

　　（1）非试验机操作人员不要随便开动机器，以免发生意外。

　　（2）试验机每年应当由法定机构授权的技术机构定期检定一次，切不可过期使用。

　　(2) The testing machine shall be verified once a year by a technical institution authorized by the legal institution, and shall not be used out of time.

　　（3）检查下钳口升降限位开关及测力拉杆上负荷超载保护开关是否灵验。

　　（4）检查摆杆上的刀刃是否在刀承上，测力活塞顶端是否顶在钢碗内，测力活塞上的小皮带是否正常。

　　(4) Check whether the blade on the swing rod is on the knife bearing, whether the top of the force measuring piston is in the steel bowl, and whether the small belt on the force measuring piston is normal.

　　（5）若有漏油的地方，需检查试验机漏油处在哪，各部分螺丝帽、特别是油管接头处螺母是否拧紧。

　　(5) If there is any oil leakage, it is necessary to check where the oil leakage of the testing machine is, and whether the screw caps of all parts, especially the nuts at the oil pipe joints, are tightened.

　　（6）试验机用油根据地区和气候不同而不同，使用中若发现油不够时要根据说明书的要求加入足量的油。

　　(6) The oil used for the testing machine is different according to different regions and climates. If the oil is not enough in use, add enough oil according to the requirements of the instructions.

　　（7）试验机上的所有附件（如钳口、压头、摆锤等）不用时，应涂防锈油，放于干燥的地方。

　　(7) When all accessories on the testing machine (such as jaw, pressure head, pendulum, etc.) are not used, they shall be coated with antirust oil and placed in a dry place.

　　（8）每次试验后，不要使工作活塞落到油缸底，留出20mm的距离，以便下次再用，而且可以防止空气进入油路内。

　　(8) After each test, do not let the working piston fall to the bottom of the oil cylinder, leave a distance of 20 mm for the next use, and prevent air from entering the oil circuit.

　　（9）试验时，试台上不得放置不用机件和用具，防止震动时堕落伤人和损坏仪器。

　　(9) During the test, no unused parts and tools shall be placed on the test bench to prevent people from being injured and instruments from being damaged during vibration.

　　（10）试验机的各部位应经常保持干净，对没有喷漆的表面擦干净后，用纱布沾少量机油再擦一遍，以防生锈，特别在雨季更注意保养。不用时用布罩好，以防灰尘进入，特别是齿杆导轮、油液等，特别注意防尘。

　　(10) All parts of the testing machine should always be kept clean. After cleaning the surface without painting, wipe it again with a small amount of oil stained with gauze to prevent rust, especially in rainy season. When not in use, cover it with cloth to prevent dust from entering, especially the guide wheel of gear bar and oil, pay special attention to dust prevention.

　　（11）使用中一定要学习、研究仪器使用说明书。
